A very challenging hole, a good straight drive is required to set up a shot to a green that has a narrow entrance. You should be pleased to start with a par.

The golfer is faced with two options from the tee. A ravine (that is a feature on a number of holes) runs through at driving distance, while this landing area is fairway you will be faced with a blind second shot. The second option is to lay up short of the ravine and be left with a good sight of the green, this option will leave you with a shot of around 150yardsbut watch out for the two fairway bunkers which catch the wayward lay up shot.

A difficult par 3 which is usually played into the prevailing wind. Aim to the right centre of the green as the swale to the left of the green results in a chip and putt that is not easy to execute.

A good par 4 with fairway bunkers left and trees to the right a good drive is required. The two tiered green can leave you with some interesting and challenging pin positions.

A good solid par 4 the hole is straight and all the trouble is there to be seen from the tee. The green is well guarded with bunkers and trees and the slope leading up to the green means a well struck approach is a must.

The all important shot here is the tee shot with fairway bunkers and out of bounds to the right and trees to the left an accurate tee shot is essential. However, get a good one away and you should set up an inviting second shot. A possible birdie chance here.

The shortest of the par three's but possibly the most interesting. To hit the well guarded green that is surrounded by three bunkers is the first objective. Having done this a severely contoured green means you will have to be imaginative when trying to pick the line of your putt. Enjoy.

Long hitters will see this par 5 as a birdie chance. The water hazard to the right of the fairway must be avoided! After a long tee shot the green is reachable in two but three cross bunkers mean anything coming up short of the green may find a sandy lie. For the majority laying the second shot up short of the cross bunkers is the best option.

Probably the best tee shot on the course. The ravine runs diagonally across the hole and the golfers will need to decide how much they want to cut off. The best line into the flag is from the left side of the fairway but this line means flirting with the ravine and the well placed bunkers which need to be carried to achieve the optimum position. A definite risk and reward tee shot. The green slopes from right to left which means anyone too conservative off the tee will have a difficult second shot from the right hand side of the fairway.

Another good tee shot back across the ravine. A long drive is required to get a clear sight of the green. Shorter hitters will face a partially blind second shot. Trees to the left of the fairway are waiting to catch the errant tee shot or the golfer who tries to cut off too much. The green slopes to the left so allow a little for this on your approach to the green.

A good par 3. The green is surrounded by bunkers but don't be fooled by the front bunker as this foreshortens the hole, there is a good 20 yards beyond the bunker before you reach the putting surface.

Stroke index 1. A long and challenging hole. Longer hitters will find that the fairway narrows at about 240 yards from the tee. The fairway bunker to the left and trees to the right effectively forming a bottle neck. Two more long accurate shots are required to find the green.

A good hole with a demanding tee shot with two fairway bunkers guarding the right hand side of the fairway and to their right out of bounds lurks. The ideal line is left of centre but a drive going too far left will get caught by the trees. With the tee shot safely negotiated a second shot to a generous target awaits.

A true dog leg. The hole is shaped left to right with a 90 degree dog leg. A drive up the middle of 220 yards to 250 yards will leave you a clear shot to the green. Bunkers right and left guard the green.
If you are able to play the 12th 13th and 14th in par be very pleased as this stretch of the course is known to the members as Amen Corner.

Long hitters have a tremendous advantage on this hole as the ravine again comes into play. A long drive will clear the ravine and set up a short iron shot into the green. However shorter hitters will not be able to clear the ravine and will be faced with a long blind second shot, they will however have a fairway lie.

Position off the tee is critical. Three cross bunkers narrow the landing area dramatically and the smart play is to lay up short. Aim to the left edge of the right hand bunker and you will have a clear sight of the green that represents another generous target.

The last of a difficult set of par 3 holes. Bunkers at the front and two to the left of the green as well as out of bounds to the right of the green means this hole demands an accurate tee shot. This hole has been known to wreck many scorecards.

A good tee shot awaits you at the last with a well placed fairway bunker guarding the right hand side. For longer hitters the bunker on the left side of the fairway is in reach. The best line is centre left and after a good tee shot one of the most generous targets on the course awaits giving you a chance to finish in style.
