Tynemouth has a very active junior section and in 2011 its junior team won the Northumberland County Junior League Championship for the second time in four years.

Flexible playing scheme
We recognise there are many golfers who are time limited and do not play frequently enough through the year or season to justify the costs of the joining fee and full membership but still enjoy their round of golf and the club facilities..
Effective 1st April 2013 we will welcome those golfers who want the benefits of playing our course and relaxing in our clubhouse.

Open to non-members and the club’s Social members from 1st April. Participants can subsequently apply for full membership at any time in the year.

New joiners will be offered one free 30 minute lesson with our Professional.

Participants must pay their green fee at the Pro shop or clubhouse before commencing their round. The identifying category bag tag and green fee receipt must be carried at all times.

Participants can:
a, Play at any time the course is open to all golfers except (a) before 12 noon on Saturdays and (b) any other times that are reserved for members only.
b. enter medals and mid-week competitions (and win)
c. enter trophy competitions for handicap purposes only.
d. invite three non-members once a month as a four ball at the green fee rate of £15 per visitor.
e. gain and/or maintain their CONGU handicap certificate.
